Our Process
In order to turn your ideas into a working solution, here at NOMIS I.T we employ 'agile' working practices. This is a tried and tested process for us consisting of the following phases, Requirements Determination, Prototype & Design, Construction and Implementation & Measurement. Rather than finishing one phase before starting another, we chop up the work into short sprints and go through the first 3 phases continuously until the solution is ready to be delivered.
Requirements Determination
The road to a solution starts with your requirements. Working within your brief, goals and business vision, we will obtain a detailed understanding of your business and it's services and will formalise your requirements into simple, plain english. We will work to agree a scope of functionality that fits your budget and produce a development plan to assist us with the build stage.
Prototype and Design
Having agreed your scope, we will produce a mock-up of the visual design of your application, or for more complex systems involving data storage we may produce for you a proof of concept. Consider this to be a vertical slice through the system of one key component that works right from the screen through to the storage of data.
There is always an opportunity for you to give feedback and exercise influence over the look and feel of your eventual design. If you are a startup, we have a large collection of web templates to invigorate your mind and get you thinking about your brand, or we can base the design on your existing brand and marketing requirements.
Construction
We deliver the solution quickly and in short sprints producing further levels of refinements until the system is fully built. During this process the system will be documented and iterative testing will occur across all major browsers (and versions) before being delivered to you. Prior to implementation we will prepare a 'User acceptance' testing environment for you to view and test your solution along the way. Refinements will be made based on your feedback throughout the process.
Implementation & Measurement
We deploy the website solution to your choice of hosting provider. This involves a range of internet services such as web hosting, domain name registration and email hosting. If you don't have an existing agreement with a

All commercial sites that we deploy have analytics code embedded within so that it is possible to monitor your site once LIVE to give you the kind of statistical information you need to more fully understand your customers.
