Our Mission

Our mission is simple. We want to apply the latest web developments to interesting client projects, educate along the way and coupled with first class service we want to produce fantastic outcomes for our clients that keeps them coming back for more!

So why hire us?

Here at NOMIS I.T our previous clients feel that we make a useful contribution to their programming projects. So why is this so?

  • Because your requirements matter to us
  • We're very skilled in what we do having front and back office experience as well as design theory
  • We're versatile having been involved in other interesting stuff that is non-web based
  • We can fit into an existing team as well as work remotely using our own facilities
  • We have a portfolio of very satisfied clients (see 'Testimonials' in the sidebar)
  • We're a small software company who cares about the detail
  • We always strive to provide outstanding quality and great value.

We formed NOMIS I.T at the end of the last millenium, although our experience dates back further than that. We predominantly focus on programming activities in particular programming for the web. NOMIS I.T is not an agency nor does it carry out very large projects, but it does work on web projects that it feels make a real difference to clients as well as peoples lives, and we blog about some of those things here.

So if you have a small to medium sized project that you would like to bring to the web, please get in touch for a chat and friendly, no obligation quote.

Testimonials

NOMIS I.T were absolutely great! We gave them a small brief but they just got on with it and delivered a fantastic shopping website that exceeded our expectations. They're a smart company who do worthwhile things!

5th October, 2011 - Owner of Vintage Design Interiors

It's not often that the people who make our lives as project and development managers easier than we expect get the recognition that they deserve. I'd like to make an exception to this situation in the case of Simon Dexter. Since our working relationship began in February, Si has proven to be an exceptional asset to our process. His timely (sometimes pre-emptive) responses to issues and problems has made the integration with your systems an amazingly easy process for us. His willingness to work with us to create simple solutions that work on the first pass is setting the bar high for my expectations of any development team with which I work. He is an absolute credit to your organization. I am very pleased that he is part of this team and he will be one of the key reasons we will succeed.

8th June, 2011 - Jeff Ewart, CGS Client of Mayridge Ltd

NOMIS I.T accepted the job of setting up and running the Melton Assassins website for the club and it's members, and they helped us to get the most out of the site and its functions. They were good at putting complexities into simple English. They update the site with new functionality, such as a fight results service and we have had many positive comments about the site from both club members and the general public. Well done!

15th May, 2010 - Mark Barlow Chief Instructor @ Melton Assassins

Simon has spent 14 months working as a developer, embedded within my team of analysts. In that time, it is fair to say, that he has enabled the transformation of the way the organisation works, by developing some extremely innovative and technically robust solutions. He's an excellent team player, with fantastic intuition about what the customer (us) wants - and is able to easily communicate highly technical details to senior management. I regard Simon as a valuable asset and given the opportunity, I would not hesitate in re-employing his services again in the future.

April 26, 2010 - Alex Keates-Robinson, Information Manager at NHS Procurement hub
